As someone who grew up in the area, I couldn’t ask for much more from this Friday afternoon wedding. A wonderful couple and a group of their close friends and family. The getting ready/first look space, tucked away in the hills of Mill Valley, was surrounded in lush greenery and redwood trees. The ceremony took place in a grove of Redwoods, one I would frequent with my nephew. Followed by a jovial and joyous reception at the Hopmonk Tavern in (my hometown) Novato, CA. It was beautiful, intimate, and a party.

Up in the Oakland Hills lies a unique redwood forest in the East Bay. It is here, on a perfect October afternoon, where Lisa and Jared celebrated their marriage.

From Korea, New York, and seemingly everywhere in between, loved ones gathered to celebrate among the trees with the celebration continuing on into the night at an after-party at Ale Industries.
